                                      Retribution’s  Gift




Our Lady , Retribution , she knows my inner truth
That I have sought to justify what I was taught in youth
I know and knew beyond a doubt that this was my last chance
I’ll take it gladly once for all , oh what a merry dance


Our Lady gave a blessing alike to you and I
She looks upon us smiling alike with lip and eye
Perhaps our love is nothing , I think that it is much
But it doesn’t really matter if Her joy our lives can touch


Our Lady , Retribution , She gave a precious gift
As jewel bright as ever stars that shine in Winter’s lift
She gave this gift to both of us our love a brilliant tale
And so I say , give thanks th her , anf Retribution Hail !
